Many assumed the Chiefs would address the nose tackle position sometime in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Chiefs interior defense had performed woefully versus the run and rarely was a source of pressure on the quarterback.
The need for an interior presence was paramount and the Chiefs made the right pick with Dontari Poe.

Below is my analysis of the latest edition of our 53-man Chiefs roster projection here at KCCD.
On January 13, 2009 Clark Hunt announced the hiring of Scott Pioli to be the General Manager of the Kansas City Chiefs. Since that day, the Chiefs roster has been so excessively churned that Scott Pioli could be subject to an investigation from the SEC.
