The hot rumor the past 2 days has been Andy Reid to the Arizona Cardinals was all but a done deal. Not so fast my friends. Chris Mortensen of ESPN is reporting that the Chiefs will fly to Philly today to interview the recently fired Eagles head coach. Reid would definitely fill Clark Hunt’s need for a leader as Head Coach that has experience building a franchise.

Kansas City Chiefs: Offseason Checklist

Tuesday, January 1st, 2013

There is a calm currently at Arrowhead, hopefully before a huge storm of changes.

The 2012 season is in the rearview mirror. We know the Chiefs will have a new Head Coach and the number one overall pick. We don’t know who will be making the war room decisions on draft day though. Clark Hunt is taking his time deciding the future of his football team. Will Clark fire Pioli, keep him around or give him a broom and dust pan to earn that large paycheck?

This organization definitely needs to be cleaned from the top down. Whatever is decided, let’s just hope it is quick. The new staff needs time to develop a gameplan for the draft and free agency. Kansas City needs numerous upgrades for the starters and more depth. Check out my list and feel free to add your own or rearrange the order.

My Five-Point Plan To Fix The Chiefs

Wednesday, October 17th, 2012

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has to win the fans back.

To steal the plan from Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney, I have 5 steps to get the Chiefs to the top. We could use a “One-step plan” too, which would be to simply start winning games. From the looks of this season, that’s not happening consistently any time soon. So let’s get these steps going.

I’m not going to bore you with the politics side of the plan, but I based each of mine of what Romney stated in each step. Clark, you follow this plan and the Chiefs will be back on top sooner than later.
