In this post I will be breaking down the Chiefs upcoming free agents, their roles on the team, how strongly the Chiefs should pursue keeping them, and if they are let go, what the current backup situation is at the position.

We start this week with Chiefs Left Tackle, Branden Albert.

Chiefs Training Camp News and Notes: 8/15/2012

The 2nd to last day in St Joe was a good one.

KCCD Editor: Jason Madson

We are down to our last practice in St Joe. Let’s hope tomorrow is as fun and entertaining as today. We had a little bit of everything. Drills, scrimmage, injury scares and drama to end practice at the goal line. As usual I snapped a ton of pictures.  Head inside to see what I’m talking about.

For each of the 4 Chiefs preseason games I’lll be bringing you notes similar to those in the Scouting the Draft series. Mike Loyko at NEPD  is doing this for the Patriots over there as well. These will give you an idea of who did what on each play. More inside the game than just watching the football. Give it a look and if you like it, we do this for all the major college football games and prospects each week. Check out the pictures at the end, as I took a few live from Arrowhead.

Kansas City Chiefs Projected 53 Man Roster

Thursday, August 2nd, 2012

Cameron Sheffield made the cut. Who didn’t?

KCCD Editor: Jason Madson

We are a week into Chiefs Training Camp and had our first off day yesterday. So instead of the Training Camp notes and pictures, I take a stab at the 53 man roster and practice squad. After you check it out, throw us a comment on what you’d change or even post your changes in the comments.

I balanced the team out pretty evenly, with 24 on offense, 26 on defense and 3 special teams. Take a look at my projected roster after the jump.
