Let’s face it, the Chiefs’ offensive problems are not based solely on the quarterback. One area of concern that has to be addressed in the 2013 Draft is wide receiver.
With Bowe most likely to walk this offseason (the Chiefs won’t franchise him 2 years in a row), wide receiver is a top need this offseason. The Chiefs WR corps after Bowe hasn’t been very good this season. Jonathan Baldwin hasn’t been able to get open, Steve Breaston doesn’t see the field anymore, and the only thing Dexter McCluster has been consistent with is tipping the ball into a defender’s waiting arms.
With a quarterback almost assuredly going to the Chiefs in the first round in the upcoming draft, wide receiver must be addressed between rounds 2-4.
