The interstate rivalry featured athletes all over the field, both sides of the ball.   Some of those explosive players will be featured in the 2013 NFL Draft through the 2015 NFL Draft.   There are not too many offensive prospects that I foresee being drafted highly in this match up so I added a few players who could declare after this year.  

This game was very ugly, neither team develop any offensive rhythm and John Brantley is not a good quarterback, plain and simple. Both offensive struggled all night.  Some of the bigger names in the game did not see much time due to injury.

Chiefs 4 Round Mock (NBA Draft Edition)

Seeing all these mocks for the NBA Draft tonight, I felt like doing a quick Chiefs version. I’m also a Chicago Bulls fan, so I’ll throw out a prediction for their pick as well.

 

Round 1

Xavier Rhodes CB Florida State

This would be a luxury pick for the Chiefs, but the NFL is a passing league. Rhodes brings size and solid coverage ability to the Chiefs secondary. He can play up in press coverage or excel in a zone. He’s got the size to hang with bigger WR and isn’t afraid to mix it up. He would immediately come in and take Stanford Routt’s spot, pushing him to nickel. Pairing Xavier with Flowers would give the Chiefs one of the best CB duos in the NFL.
